What is Mission Kids?
The Church can labor long and hard to influence kids to be compassionate and mission minded, and at some level, the church can succeed. However the church only gets a few hours a week with your kid. Then we got to thinking. What if we could do all of the hard work to provide churches with tools, ideas, and resources so they can effectively equip parents to be the main influencers of their kids.
Mission Kids is an easy to use lifestyle guide. It was designed with the hope that influencing individual families to raise compassionate and mission minded kids would be as easy as A-B-C.
Action
We will research and recommend opportunities that make loving others easy for parents and kids to do together. We hope this will open your kid's eyes to the needs that surround them. Every place we go is our mission field, whether that be the bank, the grocery store, the movie theater, or another country. Our goal is to help kids value the opportunities they have to love others and provide them with the opportunities to take action.
Biblical Basis
While simply "doing" great things can feel rewarding, we don't want to stop there. There is a reason why we care, a reason why we love, and a reason why we give of ourselves. We love because He loved us first. We aim to provide resources to make conversations about these topics frequent and natural. We want to help connect everyday experiences to Scripture and to our God.
Creative Tools
We aim to equip parents with practical yet fun ideas that will allow them to initiate conversations and provide opportunities to bring the ideas of Mission Kids into the home. As we provide these tools, we pray you will use them!
